ACC Leak Block Cement Coat - LB 303
An advanced acrylic emulsion-based waterproofing and bonding compound.
Key Features
- Superior waterproofing performance due to high flexibility
- Excellent bonding with concrete and masonry plaster
- Chloride-free
Areas / Recommended Applications
- Waterproofing: Roofs, water tanks, walls, and all wet areas
- Repair Work: Floors, columns, beams, slabs, overhangs, etc.
- Bonding Agent: For old to new concrete and masonry plaster
Method of Application
Step 1
Remove dust, oil, grease, etc., and clean the surface thoroughly. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove all loose particles from the surface.
Step 3
If cracks are wider than 3 mm, open them in a V-shape and fill them with a paste made of Cement All-303 and cement in a 1:3 ratio. Allow it to harden.
Step 2
Remove any remaining loose material using a grinder/wire brush so that a proper adhesive surface is obtained.
Step 4
Make the surface saturated by wetting it and remove excess water.
Waterproofing Coating

Step 1
Mix 1 kg of ACC LeakBlock Cement Coat LB-303 with 1 kg of cement.

Step 4
Keep it wet for 4–6 hours.

Step 2
Mix thoroughly until a smooth slurry is formed.

Step 3
Apply the first coat on the clean surface.

Step 5
Apply the second coat at a 90° angle to the first coat.
Water Ponding
A ponding test should be conducted 3 days after applying the coating.
After this, drain the accumulated water.
Then, over the second coat, apply an integral waterproofing compound ACC LeakBlock Cement Mix LB-202 at the rate of 0.2 kg per bag of cement.
Mix it with cement-sand mortar in a 1:4 ratio and provide a 20 mm thick protective screed.
A protective screed is beneficial and essential.
Polymer Modified Mortar

Step 1
Mix cement and sand in a 1:3 ratio. Add LB-303 to the dry mix (15% of the cement weight).

Step 2
Add water and mix thoroughly.

Step 3
Apply using suitable tools.
Bonding Agent
Mix Cement Coat LB-303 with cement in a 1:1 ratio (by volume).
Apply it on a pre-wetted substrate (base surface).
Sprinkle sand over the top coat and cover it with polymer modified mortar.
Coverage
As waterproofing coating: 3–3.5 m² per kg in 2 coats of Cement Coat LB-303
As mortar modifier: 6–7 kg of Cement Coat LB-303 per 50 kg cement
As bonding agent: 4.5–5.0 m² per kg per coat
